For toner dropping on Magenta drums and developing units and streaks on transfer belt.

What if this is not your problem. I have smudging of the three colors only, the black does not seem to be a problem. Looks similar to when the cleaning blade starts to fail. Tech support tends to think it's the drum units which may be the original style but they couldn't tell me what type of drum units are in the machine based on the current serial #'s. When I get the "New" drum units I will do a side by side comparison and get pictures of the color smudges and any differences in the drum units that can be seen with an external visual examination.

Is that the gear pack 302H793110 MPF drive H or 302H793030 parts feed drive H? Having a hard time with the parts manual. Wish they could be more descriptive with part names. Thx.

robc--the earlier posts were for Voyageur machines. The part numbers you are showing appear to be Taskalfa color box part numbers. The only real issues we seem to be having with current transfer belt assy's for TA250Ci thru 500Ci is occasional tearing still and the toner building up in the transfer belt cleaning assy and this excess toner is causing the white plastic cap on the side of the transfer belt assy to blow out and dump toner all through the front right and bypass areas of the machine, including not being able to clean the excess off the belt assy. I have ordered one of the spring devices that gets mounted in the throat of the waste tank tube assy that is supposed to cure this problem. Will let you know if it works as we are installing it tomorrow.

Oops. I'm having a problem with a Taskalpha 400ci dropping all colors of toner on the magenta dlp unit, causing multi-color streaks on prints. Replaced transfer belt and all developers to no avail. When I saw this post I was so anxious to resolve my problem I guess I just assumed you were talking about Taskalpha. My bad. Thanks for the clarification. Glad I didn't order the part yet.
