I have a uf-990 with the extra tray on it and was wondering how to make that my default tray. Also I was wondering if anybody had the number for the technical support hotline.
Panasonic National Tech support is no more. You have to get support from your assigned distributor, according to Panasonic. Good luck with that, as I can't even get a return phone call from ours, sales rep always calls wanting to know why I'm not buying Panasonic, and promises to have the tech rep call. It has been 4 months and at least 20 messages before I gave up, guess he is super busy since he is the only tech on the west coast. OK venting over.
Setting Fax Parameter #94 "Special Tray" to "Tray 1", will cause RX faxes NOT to print from Tray 1, forcing them to print from Tray 2.

Yes I tried both of the technical support lines that I have and nothing. This fax machine is acutally a Kyocera F-1060 that crosses over to the UF-990. I went into function 5 in the service mode and found not special tray section in the defaults. There is a Sim 60 Auto Tray selection you have a choice of 0 or 1 with one being the default. And Sim 84 Paper tray priority with a 0 or one choice. Unless you can think of something better I will try o one at a time and see if either work.
