We are going to be switching to new operating software and would appreciate feedback regarding experiences with OMD and eAutomate. I would appreciate the opportunity to speakw with a few people who have gone through implementation with either of these packages.

We have been using eAutomate for going on 5 years. We were one of the first...switching from FasTrak when they went out. Speak with Mark, our IT manager, at 301-223-7100. Implementation was rough and took a couple tries but we were in the very early stages. Seems to run great. They just made some significant updates. Heard stories about OMD complexities and expense under DOS but not sure since converted. Good Luck!

I havent used OMD since their conversion to Windows. We have been on E-Automate for almost three years. It has been a wonderful experience from our old CalType program. The support has been great and it is a welcome change to be able to have a real Windows environment. We also had a troublesome conversion from CalType but it was the first time they had converted that software. E-Automate is much more user friendly than I remember OMD being. The only program E-Automate doesnt have is payroll but it does handshake with QuickBooks. As the last post mentioned they have just released Version 6.0 and from the things I have read and heard about it makes it a lot more powerful.
