Since it is the beginning of the new year, I am going to ask for some help. We are going to change rates but we are trying to get a feel for service call rates around the country. I bet I know a great group of guys willing to help.... i hope

Rates are really relative to the area you are in. In my small rural area I am at $90.00 per hr. just down the road 45 miles in the big city the rates are around $125.00 per hr.

we just yesterday raised ours to $125.00

We raised our to $124.00 sometime last year.

Our rates have been at $153.00 with a 1 hr minimum, no trip charge if within our regular service area, for the last three years.

Ours went up to $115 just before the holidays. No trip charge unless the the customer is further than 50 miles away. Although when some of our regular per call customers complained the owner droped it back down to the previous amount for the one call and let them know the next time would be the new pricing. Most of our competition is between $105~150.
Service rates are going up, how about wages?
