Anyone using a canned website from TMP? I had one about 4 years ago but got nothing from it. Just curious if anyone is having any success with one, thanks.

No,

I did not like having phone calls from all over asking for prices why I first tried Web page adds. I am not familiar with TMP?

I do see some value in a page without a search engine availably f for customer referral for information and techs if in the field.

How have you been,? things are about the same here. parts of me are ready to retire, other parts (bank account) are not. LOL

The wife retires in 12 years and we will have saved (mostly her 401K at work) plenty to retire. Not sure I can make it that long.

Hey Yak,
TMP is the company Copystar uses to make web pages for us little guys, problem is they were real expensive back a few years ago and I didn't want to pay $5,000.00 a year on it. Now it is much more reasonable, and all I have now is a static page, can't do anything with it. I do OK with my mailings, won't go into YP, so I'm looking at a better web presence to get some new business.
How is the fruit growing out there? You getting the heat like like everyone else? Summer really just got started out here yesterday, high 80's, low 90's. Keep in touch.

Ahh I remember now the $5000.00 reminded me,
yes that was after I tried my own ISPs free web offer. Static is not good for information just phone calls. I do not ever expect referrals from any OEM and the web pages are no different, kind of like the JD Powers thing. money spent for a not recognizable designation by end users.

I spent a day in 110 heat Sunday cleanup the trees. heat is making the tomatoes turn red finally. I do not mind the heat, but wish I was full time retired so I could pace my self in the heat, I have so many projects I want to do and work gets in my way.

I think the low end losses of sales have pushed lots of the recharges and Personal copier repair guys into the 20 and 30 PPM machines. Hire a college kid to go door to door with hand outs and get a better moneys worth and you can stop the spending at anytime, I fear the web pages are still mostly for the price shoppers and big on line sales. The real secret is having good information page, how do you get the select customers to find it? search engines are too vogue and too wide spectrum. Until it is a select market search it will always be more time consuming than productive. In the big cities areas especially. Guys in mid USA where the big city is 50 miles away and a whopping 12,000 people they will find them. Broken Fax for example has success. but he is the only game for 1500 miles.

have a great day

Life is good.
