Just wondering who uses what.
We are trying to implement the free Printfleet, but the support is pretty poor from KM. We are mainly interested in it for the administrative and service side (meter reads and service alerts). We would also like to utilize it for discovery of additional printers, MPS, etc. We have talked with FM Audit, and although it costs $, whereas the Printfleet is almost no cost to implement, I at least feel there will be some training and decent support with FM Audit. Let me know what you think about the above 2 or any others you may be using or have used. Mike |

I was about to do the same thing. Devices not showing up was our biggest problem. Since the latest round of updates and maintenance it seems to be working much better. We are supposed to get support from printfleet. Thats what I was told by my rep. Since it has been working better I haven't needed any support.

We've been implementing FMAudit. It's been relatively painless so far. We're just trickling in customers right now. Only had a few customers turn it down and haven't had any machines not show up yet. The oldest MFPs we have are 3035's. I still consider us beta testing though.
The advantage for us in having FMAudit over PrintFleet was autonomy and control of the data. With PrintFleet through Kyo, Kyocera can see all the data and possibly undercut us or something later. This was apparently a big concern from my bossman. I hadn't even thought about it. |

Pauly,
How hard did you find the FMAudit to implement? We are considering it and the two way synchronization where FMAudit imports our customer data from E-automate seems like it would be a real time saver. Any input? Mike |
