Heads up y'all. If you haven't run into this yet you probably will. With the new Adobe 9 you may have issues printing more than the first page. To rectify this you must change some settings in the driver.

In the driver under device settings, click the PDL button. Under the default PDL which should be KDPL there is a settings button, click it. Uncheck the box "Allow data passthrough". That should fix your issue.

good luck

Changing to PCL XL or PCL 5 will also take care of the problem. Thanks for the data passthrough info though.

Thanks for the info. This was making me crazy. I had encountered this problem with a C5030N in our office but not with the other printers or MFP's. I knew there had to be an issue with one of the settings but never figured out which one was the culprit.

The Adobe solution only works if "Allow Data Pass Through" is selected in the KPDL emulation. Once the "Allow Data Pass Through" is unchecked, you can't make changes to the Font and Resource Policy.

Has anyone tried the Adobe fix? Will the Send for Each Page setting hold for all PDF's once it has been changed?
