If any of you experience a sudden problem with intermittent and/or slow internet access, including with email and updates, and you are using the latest AVG with newest update, UNINSTALL AVG. The ba$tards trashed my box where I had virtually no access. After formatting and reloading the problem returned as soon as I loaded AVG and updated to the newest virus database. Uninstalled AVG and the problem went away.
