It seems as soon as the fuser gear breakage problems have slowed down, the latest malady on these pieces of crap is the press roller not turning (stalling).

We have several of these out as well as the panasonic variants, the best thing for them is to replace the fuser unit spent alot of replacing gears and bushings on these machines then the jamming starts. We have one in a location that it is not enough oh a machine for there needs (over 300,000 in less than 2 years) and I have to replace the fuser about every 2 to 3 months for jamming issues (J40).

if having issues with a machine replace bushings, and gear with new style gear it is 17% stronger. cut springs to reduce pressure on unit they have to much pressure. I have done this to a number of machines and has not come back after. it is know defect of model and that is only way to correct
