An old problem but good to be reminded of. I had a Document Processor on a KM-5050 indicating Ledger paper when 11 x 8-1/2 paper was in it and Legal when 8-1/2 by 11 was loaded. Headed right for the sensor by taking the back cover off of the DP first, when I was back in front of the copier and reaching across the DP with my arm right over the sensor to wiggle the wires to see if I had a connector issue first the silly sensor would indicate the right sizes. I didn't realize at first that I was casting just enough of a shadow from the flourescent lights over head to make it work. My solution ended up being to just move the copier about 8 inches to the right and the offending overhead light didn't cause any further problems. I know that KonicaMinolta came up with a film of some type to place over their DP sensors that blocked the flourescent light from screwing with the sensor. I'm about to check the KMA Connect site to see if I can find anything similar for these DPs.
