I have a handful of Panasonic DP-3530/4530/6030 series copiers in the field. I have never been trained on Panasonics but these have been pretty reliable for the most part. The trouble I am seeing is an intermittent background. It looks like it is over toned or like bad developer, but it comes and goes. It’s a gray background and sometimes looks splotchy. I have seen this to some degree on half the machines I service so I know others must be seeing it also.
