We have a few OKI 3641's, is there any way to reset the image units or fuser? There still in good shape.

Yes. Replace the fuse in the image units and they will reset and run a full second time most of the time. They will only get about 1/3 - 1/2 through the third run so don't go there. There is hundreds of dollars in your pocket. Try2GetBuy@yahoo.com

The fuser is just a fuse, replace the fuse to reset. Even IF the fuser looks fine, but we have found they will not run a full second cycle without having offset problems. Depending on what media the customer runs you may get up to about 50% more by re-fusing them.
Don't know about the image units, have never really considered trying to get them to go longer, just happy when they actually last a full cycle. |

These were posted thru email...am now posting here.
We buy the fuses at a local electronics store. They are 125V, 0.026A LittleFuse is the brand part #0251.062VXL. We attempted the fuser but it is very hard to get to and you will probably break something doing it. The fuser and xfer belt are 100K so the real money is the image units at 30K each. We never tried the xfer belt. If you figure them out let us know. Good Luck! |

Do you know if that also works on the CX2032 Image Drums?

We never figured out the c3530, ES1624 or the CX2032. Just the image units on the 3640/3641. Sometimes they run two complete cycles and others don't....not sure why.

I've been looking all over this drum (3641). Where the f*%# is the fuse located?

Gazoo,
It is internal to the drum unit, on the rear of the drum you will see 3 square copper contacts, two of those are for the fuse. |

I kinda thought it was on that end, I just can't see how to get it apart to replace the fuse. Or is there another way to do this?
