Hi All
I am getting asked to consider doing third party support on these refurbished products. I see they are about 7 years old legacy based on the info I can find on Ricoh site. Can anyone offer any opinions on them please? The refurbishing is being done by TRM corporation and I do know when I had dealings in the past the product was bad to poor. Ed |

These machines usually are pretty good overall. They take a Photoconductor unit which takes care of drum ,dev. unit ,and charge roller all at once. In my experience they usually go close to life on the drums (60K) before copy quality suffers. The hot roller is the only other wearable part it will go 80-100K usually. The fuser bearings do make clicking noises from time to time. Just invest in some good high-temp grease to use on the bearings (we use Barrierta) and you will not need to change the bearings ,just lube the ends of the hot roller under the bearings and that will take care of the noises.
