I'm getting solid magenta background when printing color and getting some magenta when printing B/W. Copy or printing, makes no difference. Obvious thing is the IU, but that was not it. Transport assembly did also not fix it. Now I'm changing HVPS 1 for the color IU's. It's buried in the machine and if someone has any other ideas, I'm open to suggestions.
------------------------------------------------ Good luck and may the schwartz be with me. |

Did you run the calibration mode at anytime ?

Machine was running fine one minute for the customer and then the next, BAM. Solid magenta copies or prints. You can see the image under all that HOT PINK. That been said, I can not run color calibraration nor gradation with all that magenta on the page. Konica Minolta solutions page mentions firmware as the issue for a P-21, but it had run 200000 just fine with current level. Another solution for a P-22 is laser mounting posts broken off. I pulled tray one out and do not see that they are broken. So far I've replaced HVPS 1 and 2, Printer control board and 2 M I/U's. Any other thoughts?

Three weeks ago I would have said "Good idea". But it's three weeks later and I've been on the phone with the hotline daily. I still have solid magenta copies in color mode, a demo/ loaner 45C4 machine with 30K on it. And to top things off, a new 45c4 out of the box that's DOA. So I can't even do a fair test with parts, because I don't know which ones are good yet.
