Does anybody know how to set the number of rings it takes for a Ricoh 1015 to answer an incoming fax? This customer uses the same number for both their phone and fax. Currently, the fax picks up after one ring. I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find where to make this simple change. Any help would be appreciated.

This is way more complicated than it needs to be on this model but here is the procedure. Go into the Service mode then choose the Fax SP mode(Number 2),then go to NCU parameters (number 8), then choose NCU again which is number 0, then parameter number 06 which is ring count. Change the setting to what ever number of rings you would like. Hope that helps ,I dont know why Ricoh couldnt have put this as a user tool instead but that would have made way to much sense.
