Hey Dummietek, we have 6 here to go out the door. they seam to be pretty good, easy user controls, there a little on the short side have you had any customers say anything about that? r u setting yours up with the stand and spacer? have you had anyone buy it as a desktop? you seem to have more in the field and i was wondering if people like them setup one way better than the other.

Color operating cost is going the wrong way on the new boxes - significantly higher than the 250ci!

Bad move.

KMA's using a smaller display while competitors are putting in bigger ones. I smell the future burn of friction!!!

Relax? When?!

We've seen a couple of assembly line issues, mylars not glued down correctly, connectors not plugged in; also: when the right side door is opened, the transfer unit has to be closed firmly first, then the outer door, or else duplex will skew and jam like crazy. Not a good first impression.

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt

Just unboxed my first 255 and noticed the right door wont latch on the rear side. Pop it open to find the guide on the door broke and the tab on the door not aligning correctly with the slot in the frame for the SSW. Took it apart and looks like the frame is not set correctly. No box damage from shipping, no bent frames, just nothing lines up.

Can anyone share any thoughts on the Color version, CS-205c / CS-255c. How does the color look? Any feedback on the yields on color toner. Is the Color consistent? We have a few of the CS-255 out and seem to be fine.

On another note: The CS-255 has 512MB of shared memory, does anyone know how that is allocated between Copy/print/scan? I have an client that claims they can only scan about 25-30 pages, and a message appears that the memory is full. I realize we can add an 1024MB Memory stick, but how can we determine how much memory is applied to each function, or can we. This is an hour drive away, so we want to be prepared with all options before we make the trip.

We have a few of these and I've already broken the flimsy hinge on the door that opens downwards where the cassette tray can catch the door and break it off...other than that haven't had much trouble from them....

We had a 305 and a two TA-255's they both had PF-470 on them when we up dated to the 2.0 firmware we had the main board on the PF units blow. The 305 however took fine and had no problems. ( same firmware from the same USB) We then took the 255 of the PF and hit it with firmware on just the base unit alone no PF and then put it on a new PF and had no prob. Has anyone seen this issue?
