here's a tiny bit of info from some recent Kyocera newsletter:

The last bit is just the Kyoshiba, but the A4 models sound promising.

regarding the article. the hi-speed color MFPs will be KM boxes, not Kyoshiba

The 12x18 full bleed, banner printing, 150lb index through drawers, 10.2 inch touchscreen, 7,650 max paper capacity, and EFI Fiery option match the current Kyoshiba and nothing Kyocera has ever had.
Of course, I'm just guessing that it's a Toshiba base: I've never heard anything officially.

This model is 42 page per minute and a 500 sheet paper tray and just came out today:

It is an FS-3920 printer with a scanner grafted on. It should be a reasonable addition.

The specs look not bad, but there is no touch screen interface and the price point here in Canada seems pretty high when compared to competition. The Sammy 5935 is 35 ppm with colour touch screen and retails for less than the Kyocera 3140 will cost us. CPC is lower, but this market segment is very sensitive to initial cost. Time will tell.

I agree that the price point needs to come down. These may be an OK upgrade for KM-1650/2050/2550 customers that don't require 11x17.
The scanning is certainly a LOT easier for the end users to operate on these (and FS1128's).

Now if we could just get them to update/enhances SFU to have a 'Setup Wizard' that would automatically 'Push' the address book entry to the machines....

The FS-C2026/C2126mfp came out today. I think it's cheaper to buy a FS-1128mfp and a FS-C5300 than one FS-C2126mfp.

Press Release, Specs
