Yeah somebody mentioned to me that they had changed their name but couldn't find anything about that on the web or the KMA site.

Also not sure why they would want to....

Just got a letter from KMA informing us about the name change from "Kyocera Mita America" to "Kyocera Document Solutions"

Isn't "Solutions" a tad cliched? Can't throw a dead cat without hitting a copier company promoting some type of "solutions"

I like having "solutions" in your name... I miss it. Because honestly: that's what all of us "copier companies" sell now! Anyone can sell a box. It takes a team that provides "solutions" to be successful anymore. So if that's what you're offering, you might as well advertise it in your name. Just my 2 cents.

I do not like it
these obscure fuzzy names loose a lot
often require followup descriptions
I lately feel like many younger MBAs are almost embarrassed with copier/printer

like being a tech not a repairman
heck we have coffee technicians traffic technicians, hair technicians

too much modernization for a guy(me) who a 900D is still thinks one of the best machine Mita made

Life is good.

Anyone find it strange that the new name will take effect on April 1 of 2012. (April Fools Day) Are we being punked and they are really selling to Ricoh ?
