I was going to say catch a taping of The Jerry Springer Show, but apparently they moved the studio to Stamford, Connecticut.

But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Museum of Science and Industry is pretty cool.
You can also pretty much find any kind of food you can think of there too.

Relax? When?!

I haven't been there in years but there used to be a restaurant at the Palwaukee Airport called the 82nd aerosquadron it was more of a WWI museum
but the food was great and there were headsets for listing to the airport tower, it is worth the drive.

Summertime is good to take in one of the boat tours of Chicago. Also fun for an afternoon to walk the Miracle Mile. I can also endorse the Museum of Science and Industry (have a captured WWII U-boat exhibit you can walk through) as well as Shed Aquarium (just a stone's throw from the Science and Industry museum). Millennium Park also comes recommended by locals, I have yet to visit there.

If you like seedy adult-orientated entertainment, there are plenty of opportunities to get in trouble that way too. Razz

There's not much around the training center! The woodfeild mall is pretty cool cause it has a rain forrest cafe and improv comedy club... as well as a ton of stores. It used to be the biggest until mall of America opened. Downtown there is a lot of stuff to get into but you have to pay to park and make sure you don't go beyond 95th street! When you get to 93rd, start looking for a turn around quick! Make sure to eat at Sweet baby rays for some awesome BBQ, or jameson's char house for steaks.
