I've never been shorted, but back orders have been a real problem... But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

We are not getting shorted, but we are getting alot of damaged machines. The box looks fine but the machine inside is damaged.

We have also received machines that were damaged but the box looked fine. We now open every machine and inspect unit before driver leaves. Doing this takes time but it sure has saved us with any disputes.

I've only had a significantly damaged machine once. As I recall it ended up costing me about $500 in freight charges since KMA wouldn't credit me the freight charge to get it to me and I had to pay full freight rates to send it back (the frame was bent/crushed so we couldn't fix it) Relax? When?!

Scotty- I think you are lucky only having 1 damaged machine. I think we have had 4-5 in the last 2 years. and it is always a blame game of how the damaged occurred, without any carton damage. Did the truck line cause the damage or the Factory or the warehouse. Our shipments are generally smaller, only a few machines, so the item gets transferred between trailers more often then if I would order half a trailer or a full trailer of machines. But the real issue is the cardboard cartons, and the smaller fork lift required to lift the machines. Just make sure you document everything when a shipment arrives.
