Ya, 15 tech pubs and a firmware update, and I have not seen one come through the shop yet. Hate to sound negative, but ima take a wait and see on these before i proclaim my love.

first two 4550's out of the box had BAD cyan developers! Just received our second shipment and of course all 7 STANDS and 1 booklet folder were B/O.

Oh and the first order we placed 4/30 had 1 7550 and 1 6550 system. We JUST got them in this week...

Take care moving them.

Our first one went out last week, to arrive with the print card cage mangled and the covers on the left side broken. Somehow the print card survived.

Covers backordered. =^..^=

What to you guys think about the copy quality ?
its seems like the solid fill is week ,over all on the lighter side. I have compare several of out 3550ci, 45550ci, 5550ci
the fill of solid blocks are week
like work and other things seem fine but the solid fill is week on all the machine that we have

have you played around with the darkness settings you can bump it up 3 levels in the user adjustments.

Yes I have done that and some others it makes the copy darker but it does not help with solid fill

Thanks for the heads-up Muleyman on the bad dev units. Ordered a set last week and now have a new install where the cyan dev went bad. Customer is hot but at least I have one in stock. Thumbs up
