I FREAKIN' LOVE SNOW DAYZ!!! Here in Greensboro, we had about an inch of snow, and the court house closed down. I saw 5 cars off the road in less than 50 miles. I get a big kick out of all the people that loose all driving skill the minute that the road gets dusted. I am sure some of you northern techs see a lot more snow than me, and my expeience is mostly from living in the foothills of Northern California and going to the mountains to play in the snow on the weekends. I am just thankful for the half day off on a Friday. Happy Holidays you toner monkees!
Beware of what you are becoming while on the road to what you want.

The difference between snowy days in the north where I am and the east coast/south areas is that we just can't shut down and have snow days, unless it is extreme. Like the 16 inches of wet, heavy stuff that fell in Madison, WI last week. Screwed up the roads for 3 days after, but we were all back to work and running service calls the next day. A 4 inch snowfall won't stop a thing from happening around here.
The worst part of working in winter for me is having to deliver machines during snow. Drive the delivery truck on slick roads, get to the location and move the machine outside dealing with a inch or 2 of snow on the walk. Wipe the snow off of your vehicle before driving away. Weather simply won't stop a sale.
