That's what is so great about youtube, they have everything, if your jonesing for a song you can find it there.
Toni Iommi was a big inspiration to me, he is the riffmaster, not blindingly fast, doesn't throw in a thousand notes, but he plays "emotion" the dark emotions, if you could tap into that you could play.

I saw Black Sabbath in San Fran home on leave in 79 or 80, with Ted Nugent.

I love Metal, all Metal, but mostly played Southern Rock and Classic stuff in clubs, thats what people wanted.

Favorites, in order:

Black Sabbath
Metal Church
Megadeth
Metallica
Queensryche
King Diamond
Slayer
Scorpions
Judas Priest\
Iron Maiden
Ministry

Hey Admin, I'm at 800 posts now, I don't really help much in the ways of technical stuff anymore, but can you change me from PowerUser to Metal God?? Lift

Back in the early 80s I was in Elementary School. Last I heard they were planning on turning Mare Island into a really expensive gated community. I'm guessing that brilliant idea was put on hold since the real estate market tanked.

But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Jules,
Can't you just buy something that is sealed and then return it the next week for a full refund? Or is that only store credit as well? That's horrible policy if that's the case. Most stores that I know of only give you store credit if the product has been opened.
Something to find out anyways... just call them and DON'T MENTION THE CERT... just ask if they have a return policy for money back or just store credit.

This reminds me of when my girlfriend says she has gift certificates for Caraba's a really good but expensive Italian restaurant in my area. So I'm thinking great for once I'll get a good meal and not have to pay for it! So I order up she orders up what she wants and were eating like King's. So the bill comes and she pulls out her gift certificates and it's for 10 dollars and I get stuck with a 120.00 dollar bill, I'm sorry 110.00 dollar bill and I'm thinking are you kidding me, and she's like "what" use the gift certificates all proud like she should be thanked.

Oh, that's brutal...
Next time she wants you to take her to dinner say "Mickey D's your limit, baby". That'll teach her.

Nice list Airborne! I am also a Metal head.. I love old metal...

Sabbath is definitely in the top ten.. But my favorite is Iron Maiden.. "Up the Irons!"

I saw them 4 times in my life.. 2 times within the last 3 years. Still rocking hard!!

Good memories!
