Put new paper in the machine. If the paper feels hot, it is the mositure (steam) comming out of the paper. Of course clean all fan filters and thermistors.

Gotta brand new 500ci that radiates a lot of heat! Can feel it just by standing at the OPS panel.

Pull the machine away from the wall and stick it in near the air conditioner vents, I don't know...

Have not seen any of these new models, but I remember on the falcon series they had extremely restrictive filters. Maybe fan exaust is restricted on these new models by those filters as well, pop them out and see if that helps.

Just a thought.

Maybe that machine was built for a Kyocera Dealer in Alaska.
