In the tips section of the webinar they recommend turning off TX ECM and slowing down TX start speed to solve fax sending errors. We have been doing that since the the Falcon II or before. Our machines are iffy when sending to a digital phone line. Why? I have no idea. It gets really old trying to explain why their new machine won't fax to the same number that their POS old machine worked fine with.

How about the tray switching workarounds? This is the same thing we've been doing on the Falcon IIIs for years. How about a real fix?

The only thing I was not happy with was the comment about us shottgunning the machine with parts. The only time my techs shottgun machines is when they are listening to tech support. The solutions they have, reflash the machine ,format the hd, if that does not work, replace the main board, if that does not work , replace the eng. board then replace the power supply. Then the real solution is resetting the machine through the web page or something like that.
