While the 'real' preview function is actually pretty cool, I do agree that the thumbnail image that usually just shows a generic thumbnail of a page is a waste of space. I'd rather have more customizable real estate - having the option to just have a preview button (since nobody has ever really seemed too interested in the preview function except one place I had competition that had it when we didn't)
