I'm not a Ricoh tech, but this MP C5000 came in to my territory, the customer ask my boss to install a fax system on it so he did, the installation was very simple but when testing it shows that it is receiving when is done nothing prints out, also when I try to send the status show on standby it redials on and on till I cancelled TX, the line is fine because the other fax machine works just fine. Is some setting I need to enable? Thanks.ML.

Did you set the little jumber to "On" position? Do you get a dial tone when you push off hook or monitor?

Yes I set the jumper, end up to be the ports where swapped at manufacturer line was handset and vice versa. it's working now. Thanks for your help. ML.
