Customer indicating that they need new print heads and the memory is bad or going bad. Never worked on one of these, but I was able to get a service manual downloaded for free (Yahoo for free stuff). Not sure if it's worth fixing or recommending putting the money spent on what it would take to fix it towards a newer on. They also expressed interest in a wide format scanner/printer/copier, which HP does have a new one. I did fine a wholesale website were you can buy a refurbed 1050C for just under $3000. Any ideas? Thanks
Cost-wise it's just hard to beat the HP Designjet 500/650C/800/1050C line of plotters. They're cheap to purchase, and plentiful as used machines go. You'll have to spend 6 times that for any dry process machine. Speed is the only drawback. They're quite slow. =^..^=
