New TA-3050Ci on a Windows 2008 Server newtork with XP PC's and several Win.7 PC's with Job accounting on. Every PC works except 1 Win.7 PC. The prompt for the code comes up and the print job goes to the 3050Ci but is held in the que with an "invalid job code error". They have other Win.7 PC's that work fine. The 3050Ci is installed on the 2008 server and shared out. I have tried re-installing the 3050Ci printer on the troubled Win.7 box (No Good). I tried installing the 3050Ci locally on the Win.7 box and that is no good. Are there any quick fixes out there ?

Have you tried setting up a job code list?

Is the Win7 box x86 or x64?

Have you tried a local installation on the workstation in question?

Perhaps there's driver corruption on the workstation - remove printer and run the Deleter utility to purge any remnants.

Only other thing I can think of is some kind of port monitor that's screwing something up.

Scotty it is a 64 bit Win 7 box. THe job accounts are set at the 3050ci machine not added into the driver that resides on the 2008 server like the old days. I did try installing the printer on the Win.7 PC in question and it did the exact same thing.
UKTeam I did read that and I will check because I am sure that they are running Office 2010. The other issue is that they have 3 other Win.7 PC's that work fine it is just this one.

On the server, go to the advanced tab, instead what is set there as default, change to send direct to printer and try it. I have ran across this and it resolved my issue.

Yesterday I tried the deleter utulity. Re-insatlled the TA-3050Ci to print thu the server and installed the Win 7 64 PC in question to print locally to the unit as well with no results. Tried several of the advanced tab selctions to have it print directly to the unit with no results. The PC promps for the id code and sends the printed page or windows test page to the 3050 and errors that it is an invalid ID code. The office has mixed XP and Win 7 workstaions and this is the only PC that is having this issue. I'm about to punt.

FYI - I have been working on an issue with Network fax not working on a series of Fujitsu Tablet PC's in a medical environment.

It appears to be some kind of interference from another driver. I've tried it on 3 tablets with the same result. Other workstations with the same version of Windows 7 work fine (the tablets were the first ones I setup and initially thought since they were all doing it that maybe it was something else about their network).

Other than your 'regular' drivers (mobo stuff) the only other unique software is fingerprint recognition software.

My guess is your problem is probably tied to a specific driver or application on this machine.
