My customer prints PDFs. Files seem to become heavier on printing example 8MB files become like 526MB, so my customer has like 8 to 10 drawings, the 4850w prints 2 or 3 and stops. What can I do to fix this.

We are experiencing the same issues. The PDF's being created now day's seem to be getting more detailed with lots of layers and screens of half tones which make them very large. Also PDF's are highly compressed so they have to be decompressed when the driver spools them which is why you see the large spool size when printing I have installed extra memory on the plot system which I am not sure whether it has really helped as the spooling at the computer seems to be our issue. The memory for the plot system on Ratio box is PC 2700 DDR-333,400. There is also a 300 dpi driver available which reduces the spool size which is worth a try. Good luck J.G

Thanks JG, we did what you told us, except we used the PC 2700 DDR-333,500. Another thing is we configured the net so the router sends the files directly to the plot system, instead of the files being processed in a computer and then by the plot system. The plot system is another computer on the net ( thats how they explained it to me). Now its working great, yesterday we printed 12 drawings in little less than 3 minutes. Thanks for the tip.
