Can someone explain or have documentation on how to setup Mac's to print using Ip address instead of LPD protocol, I do the drop down and there is no choice for Ip printing. Hotline suggested taking Apple Talk out of the equation for the problem I'm having on a Ta 300ci locking up when receiving large file size print jobs. I also might try sim 21 memory clear.

Well, appletalk is no longer available on 10.6 and up. Have you tried using Bonjour? Its dead easy.Turn it on on the copier, then go system pref, printers, click on the + button and all the networked printers show up, just add the one u want.

Went back today and customer said it's working now "locking up recieving and printing large file sizes was the problem" they are a magazine publisher in a total Mac inviroment. The only thing I did at my last visit was upgrade to Ver. 10.7 and restart print system. I'm hoprfull they won't callback. Time will tell.
