Have a customer that uses publisher for their bullitens they are a trifold. Has a void every couple of inches on the prints only, copy wise they are ok. anyone have any ideas???

Is this with all print jobs from different apps or just with publisher?

As an interesting experiment you might try rotating the image from portrait to landscape, or vice versa. You might also try selecting PCL emulation in the driver. =^..^=

Also, what PDL is selected in the driver settings? If it is in KPDL double check the "Allow Data Pass Through" and make sure the box is "NOT" checked. I believe when installed that it defaults to being checked and that usually corrects alot of strange happenings when you uncheck it.

Publisher is notoriously inefficient with print data.
Sadly it's really hard to blame publisher for this since many other printers seem to be able to manage.

If you output to PDF first does it print OK?

Also, I always HATE to recommend GDI mode - but it does basically smash the entire print down to a graphic first. For most applications this slows things down, but for a few it does actually increase the speed and improve compatability.


Relax? When?!
