Hi, we have a customer who is printing from File Handler an insurance claim document management software. When they print their checks every monday morning most of the checks come out in the landscape orientation. Print preview shows portrait and they have portrait selected in the driver but still the majority of the time it prints the image landscape. I have updated the driver, changed emulation from PCLXL to KPDL, updated print and main firmware. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Also if they print to PDF sometimes the document will come out landscape as well.

Drum, What is the model of the printer?
I am suspecting papersize detection issues. do they spec a paper tray in the driver, or is everything set to auto?

I have had luck with either cleaning or replacing the pcb in the cassette that is giving the problem. (size detect)

I have had that issues before, fixed by cleaning the paper size detection sensor in the paper tray. Main having that issue with the color box.
