I have a customer complaining that their 4050 started sending the PDF files to the folder corrupted(intermittently). When tries to open a file Adobe returns a message saying file is corrupt. I'm going out tommorrow to reflash frimware.

I would be curious if the high-compression PDF mode is unlocked on this machine and if the customer is using it. Maybe experimentation on the quality settings of the PDF is called for also. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com

I'd run a check on the hard disk. Sadly the only other times I've seen this were with the KM-4530's and that required the Main PCB to fix!!! Relax? When?!

Mike - just a heads up - if the disk check fixes it, don't be surprised if the problem comes back. Seems like the disk check just buys you some time to get a replacement drive. Relax? When?!
