Refresh my memory...How do you reset the password on an NS-30 scanner nic? I usually never change these, but I have come across one in the field that needs to be reset.

Card has jumpers on it which you can reset back to factory settings.

but using the jumpers works.

If you're wondering the jumper needs to be moved across the "2". From the __ position to the | position.

Reboot the machine, by the time it reaches Ready To Copy, it should be reset.

Move the jumper back to the original position.

504 did reset the password for me. The sender lists stayed put; however, the network addresses were wiped out. This sure was a lot easier than jumping the board.

When they put a password on a 3050 4050 then it gets to be a pain in the butt because then you have to use the !R! commands.
