I cannot print more than one page of any PDF file and I have tried lots. However if I print word documents all pages print no problem. I am hoping there is something simple I may have missed. This is a first for me as any other product new out of box has worked fine without any special setup. I tried changing emulation, turned RAM disk on, even another computer. Also tried direct with USB cable. Thanks ED

Ed, is the driver set up for KPDL in the "Device Settings" tab in the printer properties? When you click on the "PDL..." button here to select either PCL XL, PCL 5e or KPDL, select the KPDL then click on the "Settings..." and uncheck the "Allow Data Passthrough" box. Tech support cannot give a good explanation on what this does, but it seems to correct alot of weird print issues.

I would be willing to bet that you are using Adobe 9. See this article by Adobe. http://www.adobe.com/go/kb408015 Gene Y. Proximity to stupidity is exhausting!

Thanks for the replies. I will check this info out in the morning and report the results. Gene, you are right on about the Adobe Reader version 9 which is indeed what I am using. Elheather, I will check these settings that you mention as well. Many Thanks Ed

I am happy to report that the machine is now working fine. The final resolution was "unchecking the allow data passthrough box". Many thanks ED
