Have a customer who has 3 Kyocera products installed and shared on his W2k Server. They use the server when they do billing and their complaining that the default printer alway jumps back to the CS 1820. They swear it does it on its own. Anyone have any idea, or even believe them?

It sounds like the billing application could be the culprit here the application settings could be over riding the default settings on the printer folder look at the application settings.. good luck

Personally, I think the customer is full of **it. Printers do not normally change to default all by themselves. The quickest solution, if possible is to share the printer from a different workstation for a week or so and see if it still happens.
What does the users network admin have to say about the situation (let me guess...they don't have one) |

I have been told that if the computers have automatic discovery of printers turned on it can make the first printer discovered the default printer.
