I understand that I have to create a file, username and password. My customer wants to create a file on the server in the E drive that will be called scans and will show up on the x drive for the clients. Using the E drive on the server and a folder called scans what path would I type to make this work?
Ex E\Scans? |

this thread may be helpful.
You will only have to create a password if there is not one already being used to log on to the local machine/server. The example you give for the folder looks correct to me. E:\Folder Drive letter or backslashes are not used unless the destination folder is a sub folder of the SMB share that was configured, which in your case it is. This message has been edited.
