Can anyone tell me the utility kyocera uses to collect multiple meter reads at a customer office and then forward those to our office? I remember something about meter gateway but cannot find anything about it now. I'm trying to get as many of our machines in the field to start emailing us with the reads. Sometimes it is probably going to easier to set up the mahine itself, but we have a few locations with several machines.

I believe there is (or used to be) a Service Gateway utility that supposedly worked in conjunction with OMD. KMnet Admin can be set up send email reports to whatever address you choose at whatever interval you choose. This way, every machine doesn't have to bet set up to send email. They just have to be discovered in KMnet Admin. Works with non-Kyocera machines as well, but you may only get limited information on those. You should be able to get meter reads, though. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

There is a service gateway the works with OMD and also they have another updated version that is suppose to work with eAutomate and some other service program, LaCrosse I think. We are using a 3rd party program from LMI called PageTrac to gather meter reads and post them to a web page that we log into. In the future we should be able to totally automate the meter read process and have a pip program that puts the meter reads properly into eAutomate for us. Since it is 3rd party there are costs incurred for this but we are also using it to gather meter reads on print systems and to do print studies in order to be able to offer managed print solutions to our customers.
