Linux newbie. Installed Ubuntu on an office computer and it prints 10 copies of everything. Tried many different drivers and checked the "copies #" option on both the driver and MFP. Thanks in advance.

Having installed a few printers in a couple flavors of Linux, make sure you download the postscript PPD files from Kyocera and install that as your print driver, and perhaps not use some of the PPD files that come with the Ubuntu package. Also verify your printer is set to KPDL or KPDL (Auto) on the emulation as it won't work when set to PCL with Linux or Macs. On a side note, Kyocera has basically no Linux installation notes that apply to the popular distributions anymore. It's all outdated. Ubuntu will basically auto-detect a Kyocera printer connected on a network and do 98% of the installation itself. That last 2% is you pointing to the more correct Kyocera PPD files. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com
