I am new to this model.
I am on site now, and cannot access the controller configuration button,... its actually not there.

I press UTILITY and do not see the CONTROLLER DETAIL button. It does copy, and does come to ready, BUT I cannot access anything related to the TCP/IP settings. I'm thinking I need to reset the machine or reformat the HDD. However I do not know how to access simulation for this machine.

Any ideas?

Well, I went back through the main body control panel, (The panel on the printer portion of this machine), and re-executed the SETUP menu option. I had run this option before and it had yielded nothing but a reboot, it never gave me any options. This time however I gained access to options that I did not see the first time around. I was able to configure all of the IP settings I needed access to.

The Controller button that is supposed to be in the main control panel, (at least per the fiery v2.0 configuration manual I d/l'd from Kyocera mita), is still not there.
It's working now, but I don't trust it, based on the info I was able to download from Kyocera.

Am I missing something here?

You will not get any controller information on the machine operation panel for this model. The only place you can access Fiery controller settings / information is the individual Fiery control interface attached to the machine. The C3130, C2230 and I think the C2030 is accessed through the machine control panel.

Reaffirmation of the fact that the manual is not as reliable as it should be. I tended to be in your court on this, but one must trust the official manuals.
