| if they are running win xp you just need to do an RDP, or remote assistance session, and that's free. Also real VNC, or tight VNC is a fairly cheap solution, I have not had trouble with either. I wonder though, why you are looking for a 'cheap' solution, why not go with a premium service like web meeting and charge the end user for it. Compare the price, you may still be able to offer your customer a savings and turn a small profit.

| We use gotomeeting.com. We pay I think 70 bucks a month but it is worth every penny. We cover the whole state of south dakota and parts of minnesota and Iowa. Once you buy the software any customer can use it for the pc that they are on free of charge. We just contact the customer, have them go to gotomeeting.com tell them to join a meeting, give them the meeting ID that you have and they join you and you get access to their computer on their terms. None of our accounts have never says no to that especially if it fixes the problem quickly. We use it everyday and it saves us time and money and if the customer abuses it, we charge them for the support by 1/4 hours ex. 40 dollars per 1/4.
Fantastic Software.
ps. If you have the username and password you can even use it at home. 70 bucks a month unlimited use.
