AS400 PRINTING NONSENSE

Hello Guys, I have an issue with a customer, CS3035 The AS400 is running at their headquarters and we are in a southern location. It was working fine and now started to print nonsense pages ( lost of them ) i'm lost and don't have a clue. Also this machine locks every other day sometimes we can reset it from the web interface somethimes you have to turn off and on the machine. Any toughts??? Thanks

Printing garbage and locking up the printer are the common symptoms of printing with the wrong print driver.

That's genericly speaking. I think the place to start may be at the headquarters.

I had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago
with a KM-3035 and a AS-400 mainframe. In my case updating the firmware was the key solution.
Also as Chris said print drivers are also a good
thing to check. Also on Dealernet ther is a good document to use as a guide for printing with AS-400. Its handy as a setup tool.

Chris, First of all Thanks, now do I tell them to install one of our drivers ( which one ) at the headquarters??? I have this issue in two different companies. It was workinf fine and then ZAZ the problem started.
