Im having troubles printing envolopes in stamps.com. The closest i get is the correct print but 48% reduced, when i go to 100% the machine errors out and i must go to the copier witch is a 4035 falcon 2 copier and press printer then go, but the print is off the page. The machine also says the original is 11x17. I tried everything so i called stamps.com and they said that thier software is not compatible with the cs 4035 for envolopes. I have set up many drivers to print envolopes but this one is making me sweat. Has anyone had sucess with this program. Thanks Tech
The clue to your problem is the answer from stamps.com. It's their software not the printer driver. There is no way to get the machine to print the stamps. Call stamps.com and ask if any Kyocera printers are supported. Then sell them one. Otherwise sell a nice inexpensive inkjet all in one machine as a envelope printer.
I understand that thier answer may be true, that the 4035 may not be compatible with thier software, but im so close to getting it to print correctly. The machine was sold and the check was cashed so to speak. From what i heard it took a while to get this one done. I know its a small one, but sales likes it. The H.P. driver idea is a good one and use it for the envolopes only, and keep the original driver for everything else. Thanks Tech
Don't know how much postage is being printed, but try printing to a PDF writer set to the correct envelope size. Once you have the correct size pdf with postage, you should be able to reprint as well as manipulate the pdf. You would just need to make sure to delete the pdf after correctly printing the postage on the envelope.

If you do try using the hp driver make sure that the bypass tray is set to the enevelope size. Not how they normally are set to detect the size. I had not thought about using the HP driver to print with. But it sounds like a good shot. I seem to recall from the dim past someone used HP4 drivers to run an old application that was dos based.
Not trying to be an over simplifying ass, but, if you default the printing preferences with print size of #10 env. (or whatever size env. you need), and the page size of 11x17(per stamps.com), paper source bypass, does it not reduce to 37% and print properly? You may have to adjust the gutter a little for fine tuning of position.
