Does anyone know of a way to use a color scanner(km-5050) and print directly to color laser printer. I know there was something out with 5016 but I never saw it used.

Set a scan destination from the 5050 using the FTP field in the Address Book. Just enter the IP or hostname for the color printer, leave the username and password fields blank.

If the color printer is Kyocera, the language should be set to KPDL or KPDL(Auto), if set to PCL it will fail. I don't know what will be required to do this to an HP printer.

Basically, the scanner should send as a color PDF, at least 300dpi, and it will print a bit better if the quality is set at 3 or higher. You can save all the settings as a program, including the scan destination, and name it "color copy" or something like that.
