we upgraded a 4035 with a 4050 but the customer wants to give it back because when he sent multiple print jobs to his virtual mailbox on the 4035 it would retain it and he would go and print them all. Now on the 4050 when he does that it only retains the last one and the previous ones do not even show (sending from from job-log).Any clues why not?

Sounds like it is a naming issue. When two jobs are sent with the same name the first one is overwitten. For instance if a user prints more than worksheet from the same excel document at different times only the last one will show up. The work around is to give the job a different name manually.

I understand the advantage of having a usable dicument name for the custom boxes. However, I wish a least private print would just hold all jobs and then spit them all out.
Unintended consequences I think.

I'm not sure, but perhaps if you change the way the KX driver shows the name on the panel (Through Device Settings tab and Administrator button) perhaps this will change how VMB names the job as well?

Does anybody know the maximum lenght of the file names that machine will registrate when you print to custom box?
For instance if you print the following files:
1. EA Rosengrens AB KO001 -1999767057.PDF
2. EA Rosengrens AB KO001 -1999767064.PDF
the second file is over written as the machine reads it as the same file name.
