Just replaced a CS 2530 with a CS 2550. I input all the same info from the 2530 in the scan nic on the 2550 though the web interface. The new machine shows that the scan worked but no such scan shows up in the inbox of client. Not sure what I am missing with the setup.

Might be the SMTP server. It could have relaying of email enabled only for known hostnames, IP's, or even MAC addresses. This has to be fixed by the net administrator. Otherwise, you did not transfer all the information from the 2530 to the new copier exactly. The Scanner Address Editor utility is a great help with doing this. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com

Did you check the Junk email folder? I have noticed alot lately that in Outlook, it treats the email as junk. Service Specialist CompTIA Certified A+ Technician Kyocera Color and B&W Certified Associate Degree in Specialized Technology: Computer Networking

I have seen the same behaviour that KyoPro is talking about sending emails to yahoo, they'll go the bulk folder or go to the first page in the regular email folder rather than the last most recent page., I put "from the copier" or something to that effect in the Subject line when setting up the admin email account and that seems to help.
