Has anyone setup a twain scan on a KM-5050?
I have setup a document box on the copier but I can't connect with my computer using Vista.

Help!

Did you remember to install the twain driver and assign an ip address for the scanner?

Yes i did both.
I just dont think the twain driver is vista compatible.

Maybe a firewall issue, I have also used the scanner file utility on Vista with Paperport.

I believe twain scanning will only scan to the HDD on the Falcon III. Then you have to retrieve it. Correct me if I'm wrong!!

Yes Gazoo is wright the Falcon III will only scan to the hard drive and the Twain driver pulls it from the HDD.so you can't scan directly to your application.

Use KM Net Viewer in Vista and download the scanned file from the document box; you will not need to have the twain driver loaded.

You can use the scanner file utility on a 5050.
All you have to do is set it up using Kyocapture in the application menu, I have done it several times and it works.
