I have a customer that is using Microsoft Office Imaging and when she prints a crappy looking document to the 5035 it is all faded out and is barely readable. When she prints it to the HP 4 laserjet it looks better. Without emulating the HP 4 is there anything that can be done. The Firmware, Driver, and Nic Card are all up to date.

Have you tried the image adjustment in the driver? Contrast and Brightness.

Try this: In the PDL Settings, activate "GDI compbatibility"

Or on the imaging tab, check the box print text as black.
