I've got a technician with this problem in the field and when he told me about it, I had deja-vu. I'm sure I've seen it or heard about it before... I just can put my fingure on what the solution was. Scenario the entire image on the page will shift to one side (the right side) so badly that the portion that is supposed to be on the right side will instead be printed on the LEFT side of the page. Additional Detail that may or may not be pertinent If you turn "Job Accounting" off on the machine, it doesn't seem to have the problem anymore. Also, it's got a very steady pattern to it. For instance, if the problem happens on the 5th page in a large job then you'll see it again on the 10th, 15th, 20th page, etc... If it happens on the 7th page in a job, you'll see it on the 14th, 21st, 28th page, etc... Anyone else seen this? If so, what was your resolution?
It sounds like laser to me too, except for the pattern you described. The pattern sounds more like a faulty RIP. I'd start with firmware, then memory, then main PCB. (Cheapest to most expensive).
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

We've already done firmware, board, and reseating memory... but I haven't tried replacing memory. The thing keeping me skeptical about the Laser possibility is that it only seems to happen when the the "Account Management" codes are being used. But I will forward this info on the the technician handling this account. I'll provide the feedback on what we find guys. Thanks for the suggestions!
